Detailed specifications are provided for aspects such as accuracy grade, range classification, appearance quality, material requirements, and performance testing.
GB/T 1226-2017 \"Precision Pressure Gauges\": Applicable to precision pressure gauges used for measuring pressures in the range of -100 Kpa to 60 MPa, it sets stricter requirements regarding their design, manufacturing, inspection, and marking. The standards for accuracy grades, range classification, visual quality, material requirements, and performance testing are also more stringent.
JB/T 12014-2014 \"Clean-type pressure gauges\": These are designed for measuring pressures in the range of -100 Kpa to 6 MPa. They are primarily used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics, where high standards regarding environmental cleanliness are required, and there are special demands regarding materials, surface treatment, and sealing properties.
JB/T 6804-2006 \"Seismic Pressure Gauges\": It specifies the product classification, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, and storage for seismic pressure gauges. It applies to mechanical pointer-type pressure gauges with a filling liquid in the gauge case, as well as to such gauges that have a damper along with a mechanical pointer (or rotary dial).
JB/T 9273-1999 \"Electrocontact pressure gauges\": It specifies the product classification, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, as well as requirements for marking, packaging, and storage of electrocontact pressure gauges. These gauges use a Bourdon tube as the measuring element and have the function of indicating and controlling the on/off state of electrical signals.
The compliance of a pressure gauge can be determined through the following visual inspection items. ①The pressure gauge should be firmly installed, without any looseness, obvious defects or scratches, as well as no burrs or damage. ②Complete markings: The pressure gauge must clearly display the product name, unit of measurement and values, factory serial number and year of production, measurement range and accuracy class, manufacturer’s name or trademark, as well as the mark and number for the license to manufacture measuring instruments (newly purchased pressure gauges must carry a CPA or CMC mark, along with the ability to verify the certificate number). ③Surface glass: It should be colorless and transparent, without any defects or damage that could interfere with reading. ④Dial: It must be flat and smooth, with numbers and markings that are clearly visible. ⑤Pointer indication end: It should cover 1/3 to 2/3 of the shortest division line. As shown in the figure, this gauge is a pressure gauge whose pointer tip does not meet the specifications; the pointer tip is too long, which affects the reading.
