The medium being measured is oil; the liquid level will fill the entire tank, but only the level in the middle section needs to be measured. What type of level gauge would be suitable for this purpose? ? ?
1. The length of the level gauge and the density of the oil need to be considered, as well as the magnitude of the differential pressure, to determine whether double flange design can be used. 2. The viscosity of the medium and its degree of contamination also matter; if the conditions are favorable, a flap type gauge with remote transmission options can be considered
When selecting the type of gauge, factors such as temperature, viscosity, and freezing point are taken into consideration. This most basic form of level measurement doesn’t involve any significant technical challenges; it mainly depends on the properties of the medium being measured.
