Maximum distance between cabinet rooms and control rooms
The control system uses optical fiber connections for communication and control between the cabinet rooms and the control room. Theoretically, the maximum distance depends on the distance limitations between the fiber optic cable and the switch. Single-mode fiber can theoretically transmit over dozens of kilometers, so it should be able to meet ordinary distance requirements.
There’s another question: if the control room is currently in the same building as the cabinet room, and the main power distribution room is also located in that same building, and now we want to move the control room to another building while keeping the cabinet room in its current location, is this in compliance with the regulations? It should be feasible to move the control room to another building; it is recommended to engage a reputable design firm for the design work. 3. I estimate that the current safety distance required by GB50984-2014 for the control room in terms of overall layout is not sufficient. Moving it aside can also solve this problem.
