What brand of trackers are you all using? Is there on-site valve position feedback? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having on-site valve position feedback?
I can share with you some of the valve positioners that are widely used as far as I know: Emerson-Fisher’s DVC6000 series, Siemens’ Sipart, and others. Of course, as for which type of locator to choose, it needs to be determined based on the user’s requirements. Whether there are any issues with on-site feedback depends on the specific product you have chosen. Regarding the advantages and disadvantages, is the original poster comparing it to something? Compared to traditional control systems that lack feedback information, the first advantage is that they provide us with relevant data. As for the disadvantages, it’s the cost issue – just **buying valves with smart locators comes at a very high price. Additionally, if this type of valve is to be used, modifications will also be required.
