I hope you can give me some guidance. Thank you! The questions are as follows: 1. When the Lurgi furnace operates with coal pulverized and steam under pressure, why cannot a single pressurization process be used for feeding coal – where the compressor is used to compress the syngas? 2. The high-pressure gas-water mixture is pressurized to 4.2 Mpa by the high-pressure gas water pump located at the bottom of the first buffer tank in the gas-water separation unit, and then sent at 140°C to the washing and cooling device to wash, remove dust from, and cool the raw gas. However, another high-pressure gas water pump pressurizes the mixture to 3.7 Mpa and sends it to the gas cooling device, where the temperature is only 70°C. How is it possible to have such a large difference in temperature for the same medium coming from the bottom of the same container? 3 From which container or device does the low-pressure jet gas water come from? I won’t tell you; it’s a manufacturing issue, and it’s also related to the structure and materials of the device itself.
This is because, although it is the same medium, one is cooled to 140° using a heat exchanger while the other is not; the original poster can understand this by looking at the flow diagram for gas-water separation
1. When operating with air, the pressure should be around 4 kilograms. After gasification, the exhaust gases are sent directly to a flare for combustion. I’m not aware of the specific process in your facility; the raw gas used by the coal-lock gas compressor should be syngas that has been transformed, right? When the gasifier is operating with air, the transformation unit should not yet be in operation
1: When a Luchie furnace operates with coal and pressurized air steam, why cannot the coal lock be operated with a single charge of air, given that the oxygen content in the gas inside the furnace is high in such a scenario?
