The Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau conducted inspections on the wall thickness of the company’s crude benzene storage tanks. The inspection report stated that due to severe corrosion, the wall thickness had decreased from 8 mm to 4 mm, and it was recommended that the tanks be stopped from being used. If the tanks are to be replaced, what needs to be done with the residual crude benzene in them? What safety measures should be taken during the construction process? This is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation; please advise!
