The book states that for convective waste heat boilers, water-tube or fire-tube types can be used; the water-tube type has a lower pressure drop and greater flexibility； Fire-tube equipment is compact and inexpensive. ”Please give an explanation, thank you!
I understand it as water flowing through the pipe side and fire flowing through the pipe side. Water is used more in the tube side.
Can it be understood as a waste-heat recovery process and a quenching process?
It seems that it can’t be understood in that way. . . .
