2.4 Ball-shaped asphalt. (1) Quality specifications: Diameter of ball-shaped asphalt ф0.5–ф1.0； The coking value is greater than 60% ； Softening point: 130°C (it does not stick together only when the softening point is above 130°C in summer) ； Ash content: If sold domestically, the ash content can be slightly higher (1%–3%), and the price can be lower. For export, low ash content is required; modified asphalt must be used as the raw material ； Good adhesion is required. (2) Market: National demand is 50,000 tons per year. (3) Purpose: Mainly used in refractory materials, and there is demand from large steel plants. (4) Process: Preparation of asphalt with a softening point greater than 130°C ； Generally, air oxidation or thermal polymerization methods are used for granulation and packaging.
It was produced near the copper smelter 15 years ago; I’ve seen it
