The value of carbon monoxide in gas

I have a project involving centralized gas supply: gas is produced through gasification and then delivered to the enterprises within the industrial park for use. So the question arises: given the requirements of GBT 13612-2006 \"Artificial Gas\", which stipulates that the carbon monoxide content in gas should not exceed 10%, must all gas supplied to industrial enterprises comply with this standard? The gas pipeline network is only within the industrial park and does not pass through residential areas.
If you want to control the level of carbon monoxide, it’s troublesome – doesn’t that require a syngas shift unit as well? ? The boss’s face must be turning green
There are no specific requirements for industrial gases; it mainly depends on the calorific value. In the fuel gas industry, more CO is needed, while H2 is not desired.
One-to-one gas supply is understandable, but if there is a gas pipeline network (even just within the campus), is it still necessary to reduce the level of carbon monoxide?
