Having worked in gasification for 10 years, my deepest realization is that I was essentially bought by the company through a contract and treated like a slave; I wonder if others feel the same way? I had no idea what weekends were, or what annual leave meant; let alone family visit leave. I worked 8 hours a day, was on standby for 16 hours, and my device couldn’t be turned off at any time – no matter how late it was, I had to rush over whenever a dispatch call came in. I remember one colleague who, not knowing what was going on, turned off his device; as a result, it was mentioned during the daily meeting for the whole factory, and he had his bonus deducted – it was really tragic. There’s no time for oneself, no personal life – everything revolves around the workplace. People in their twenties or thirties end up looking like they’re in their forties or fifties. It’s even more unfair to have to work in such a high-risk environment, while earning a salary that’s even lower than that of shop clerks. I wonder if anyone else feels the same? Let’s all complain together and vent our frustrations! But avoid personal attacks, remember that!
A contract is just a piece of paper; it cannot bind an individual. If there’s a better place to go, one can consider moving there

Working in the dry chemical industry is tough. Without bitterness, how can there be sweetness?
Our situation is pretty much the same....
Have you never heard of women being used as men’s servants, or men being used as donkeys’ servants?
Keep proper records of attendance, compare them with the contract and current laws and regulations, and if any illegal activities by the company are found, take legal action against it.
Women are made to serve men, men are made to serve donkeys, and donkeys are made to serve electric donkeys
Our situations are all similar... it’s a sad fate.
The gasification position is the most important; if the compensation isn’t good enough, consider changing jobs and look for more opportunities outside.:)
That’s just how society is nowadays. . . I just want the horse to run fast, I don’t give it any grass to eat, and I still expect it to milk cows. .
