Do you think it’s better to insulate the outer wall of the combustion chamber or not? In furnace designs with water-cooled walls, if the outer wall overheats, is increasing the amount of protective gas in the annular space a valid solution? If not, what are some better alternatives?
Fire-resistant bricks are not used these days; if they are used, heat cannot dissipate, so the material used for the gasification furnace needs to be reconsidered. Without insulation, the operating environment becomes poor, and warning signs are necessary
