What are the specific gas purification and desulfurization processes currently used in China’s major coking plants? For facilities such as Baosteel’s coking plant, Shagang’s coking plant, and Magang’s coking plant, what processes are used for gas desulfurization? Just getting informed, thanks!
It is mainly wet flue gas desulfurization. Baosteel uses the Tower-Sifa, FRC, and Solphi processes; currently, HPF and ADA desulfurization processes are more common, as well as the vacuum potassium carbonate process
Baosteel Phase I: Ta-Shifa； Phase 2: MEA ； Phase 3 begins: FRC MaSteel Old Area: AS ； New area: Vacuum potassium carbonate; Shagang’s original product: HPF
We use the dry desulfurization method provided by Beijing Baoju; it has a higher cost but good results
