If this balance is not maintained over time, sulfur will accumulate within the plant, and measures need to be taken to increase sulfur output. 3. Overall liquid level of the device: The liquid level provides an intuitive indication of changes in the amount of liquid stored inside the device. If the liquid level in various components of the device tends to rise over time, it indicates an imbalance in the device’s water balance; in such cases, it is necessary to reduce the amount of water added or adjust the temperature to lower the liquid level and maintain a stable water balance. 4. Specific gravity of the solution: The specific gravity indicates whether the concentration of the desulfurization solution is increasing or decreasing. Under normal conditions, it remains stable within a certain range; if it rises suddenly and rapidly on a continuous basis, it is necessary to analyze the specific reasons by considering water balance and sulfur production ; If the water balance is normal and sulfur production is normal, it may be that unstable operation has led to an increase in side reactions, posing a risk of the accumulation of by-products; in such cases, a case-by-case analysis is required.
Maintaining data records enables timely understanding and analysis of the operating conditions of the desulfurization unit, helps in determining and optimizing operational parameters, preventing and resolving problems, and ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the unit. .
