On January 14, 2019, the gasifier of the SN New Energy Slurry Gasification Demonstration Unit, constructed by Sinochem 11th Construction Company, was successfully lifted into place in one go. The slurry gasification furnace was independently developed by SNOWTECH; it is capable of processing 1,500 tons of coal per day and has a weight of 244.5 tons. Its advantage lies in the ability to carry out coupled gasification of coal powder and coal slurry within a single reactor, which enhances the adaptability of the technology to different types of coal and improves gasification efficiency.
