Successful first ignition of Jinhua Furnace gasification unit Author/Source: Date: 2019-01-22 Clicks: 9 On January 19, good news came from the site of the gasification unit at Henan Jindadi Chemical Co., Ltd.: the Jinhua Furnace gasification unit was successfully ignited for the first time on attempt. This marks the successful achievement of the key milestone targets for the gasification unit of this project. The gasification unit of the project utilizes internationally leading technology – the Jinhua furnace coal-water slurry gasification process technology developed by Beijing Qingchuang Jinhua Technology Co., Ltd. This successful ignition lays a solid foundation for feeding materials into the gasification unit and starting up its operation. On May 10, 2016, a signing ceremony for the development contract of the 6.5MPa syngas/steam co-generation gasification furnace (Jinhua Furnace) and its associated process packages was held in Zhengzhou City, involving Henan Jindadi Chemical Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University’s Shanxi Clean Energy Research Institute, and Shanxi Yangmei Chemical Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. The 3 Jinhua furnaces signed for this project will replace 33 conventional fixed-bed gasification furnaces, and they constitute the core equipment for Jindadi’s 450,000-ton synthetic ammonia relocation and renovation project. Jindadi Company plans to phase out the production capacity of 100,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia at the former Wuyang County Fertilizer Factory, as well as the 200,000 tons per year production capacity at the existing factory. An additional 400 mu of land will be allocated on the east side of the existing facility to build a new plant with a production capacity of 450,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia. Henan Jindadi Chemical Co., Ltd. was established with investment from Henan Jinshan Group. It has a registered capital of 300 million yuan and covers an area of over 1,100 mu; it is a salt chemical enterprise that specializes in the production of industrial salts, synthetic ammonia, soda ash, ammonium chloride, and melamine.
