There are cracks in the welds of the quench chamber of the gasifier, and the edges of those welds show some corrosion. What is the cause?
Specifically, on the furnace wall itself or on the furnace internals?
Is the weld here a weld on the internal component? Still the cylinder weld? Is it the weld at the connection between the internal components and the cylinder? If it’s a cylinder weld, then you’re in big trouble. OP, what type of vaporization do you guys use? Which company makes the gasification furnace?
Cracks in welds are mostly caused by deflagration during the feeding process of the gasification furnace. Welds are divided into transverse and longitudinal types
Such matters require extra caution; the equipment should be thoroughly inspected. Analyze the causes and assess whether the equipment can continue to be used.
