The stem of the DN1200 gate valve has corroded and become dislocated, making it impossible to use properly; I plan to replace the stem – how should this replacement be carried out?
First, carry out the necessary cleaning based on the conditions of the medium inside the pipeline; then insert blind flanges on both sides of the valve, remove switching devices such as worms, and finally open the valve cover to proceed with the replacement.
