Boundary problem for GD-type pipes: Hello everyone. Steam generated as a by-product in a thermal power plant has a temperature of 210°C and a pressure of 1.6 MPa; it is extracted from the steam distribution cylinder in the power plant and sent to the chemical plants within the industrial complex for use. This pipe runs from the steam distribution cylinder to the main pipeline corridor in the chemical plants – so does this pipe fall under the GC category or the GD category? It travels about 500 meters inside the power plant, and another 1 km along the pipeline corridors in the industrial complex outside the plant.
The issues with GC and GD are not new GCD issues.
Consult the local special inspection agency for this matter; they have the authority to make decisions, and regulations may vary from region to region
Most fall under GC2, but in the end, it’s the Special Inspection Institute that decides~
