As of 15:18 on December 1, the cumulative natural gas production of Xinjiang Qinghua Energy Group Co., Ltd. for 2025 had exceeded 1.41 billion Nm³, achieving its annual production target one month ahead of schedule. Behind this outstanding achievement lies the united efforts and hard work of all the people at Qinghua, as well as the company’s practical approach to promoting high-quality development by focusing on safety as a foundation and production as a driving force. Xinjiang Qinghua Energy Group Co., Ltd. was established in March 2009; it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Qinghua Energy Group Co., Ltd., with its headquarters located in the Yidong Industrial Park in Yining County, Xinjiang. As the first coal-to-natural gas demonstration project to be approved during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the company is primarily engaged in coal mining, coal-to-natural gas production, and the comprehensive utilization of coal in various ways. The first phase of its project for producing 5.5 billion cubic meters of coal-based natural gas per year came online at the end of 2013; to date, over 9 billion cubic meters of gas have been produced, and since 2018 it has served as a key source of gas for ensuring supply during winter.
