Now that the development of coal chemical industry is restricted, where lies its future? It’s best to discuss it from the perspective of technological and product development!
The progress of science lies in innovation. Innovation means having something that others do not have, being better than those who do have it, and achieving excellence where others are already good. From this perspective, the issue becomes much simpler. That is to pursue development from three dimensions: one is, what technologies have not yet been developed? In the coal chemical industry, or in any field, there are technologies that are needed but not yet developed; generally, such technologies require the highest investment and the longest development time. One approach is to identify which technologies are currently limited by certain key metrics, resulting in poor product performance or low added value; then, those metrics need to be improved. Another aspect is to take one or several indicators to their extreme level; the optimization of one indicator leads to improvements in other indicators, which is what constitutes \"excellence\". The reason for these limits is that it’s not cost-effective in terms of profitability and environmental considerations, plus there is the issue of a single business model and single product. If profitability is feasible and the necessary technology is available, then it’s likely that such projects will be established just like MTO projects, emerging in large numbers; So, as mentioned above, some people have things that others don’t, and some are better than others; in that case, you’ll be in an unbeatable position
