It is understood that a total of 130 coking coal mines in Shanxi have ceased production since May 23. As of the morning of May 29, 18 units have resumed production, involving a production capacity of 25.3 million tons. ； A total of 112 coal mines are still in suspension, with a total production capacity of 122 million tons. At present, most coal mines in the main production areas are still carrying out safety inspections. The tight supply of coking coal is difficult to change in the short term, and prices are easy to rise but difficult to fall, which has laid a solid foundation for the rise in coke prices. Continuous multiple rounds of increases have steadily increased coke market quotations, restored the profit margins of coking companies, and also moved the raw material cost center of the entire coal chemical industry chain upward, providing cost support for the price increases of downstream carbon black products.
