For coal water slurry gasifiers and pulverized coal gasifiers, with various feed types such as the Texaco coal water slurry gasifier, the four-nozzle coal water slurry gasifier, as well as pulverized coal gasifiers like the Space Furnace, Shell Furnace, and GSP Furnace, how can one determine and estimate the residence time of materials within the furnace?

The time taken from when the material enters the gasifier to when gas is emitted from it can be used as the residence time.
