To date, all three gasification units in the gas production workshop have achieved successful startup with a single feeding attempt, thereby facilitating a smooth and efficient commissioning of the ethylene glycol project at the Weihe Binzhou Company. On March 2, as arranged by the company, the third gasification furnace in the gas production workshop was put into operation while the first gasification furnace was shut down for the scheduled furnace swap. This is the first time that the gas production workshop is planning a shutdown and furnace replacement, so everyone in the workshop attaches great importance to it. The workshop leaders made detailed arrangements in advance, and all staff prepared thoroughly to ensure everything goes smoothly. At 9 a.m., as per the workshop’s prior plan, personnel were sent to the No. 3 gasifier to feed materials. At 9:30 a.m., the No. 3 gasifier was shut down and its burner was replaced. By 11:40 a.m., the No. 3 gasifier was ready for startup, and the first feeding operation was successful at 11:45 a.m.; thereafter, the pressure-raising and heat-tightening phase began. On January 4, 2021, the initial feeding of the first gasifier in the gas production workshop was successful, and it has been operating effectively for 48 days and 30 hours as of the time of writing. On January 30, 2021, Feed was successfully introduced into Gasifier No. 2; it has been in operation for 31 days now with stable performance. At 17:30 on the afternoon of March 2, the pressure increase and thermal tightening of Gasifier No. 3 were completed; by 18:00, gas introduction into Gasifier No. 3 was finished, and it was integrated into the system smoothly. Hard work pays off; with the company’s proper coordination and the careful preparation by the workshop, everyone in the gas production workshop worked together as one, and all three gasification units were successfully started with their feed added in just one attempt. This led to a remarkable scenario in which all three gasification units operated simultaneously.
