Dear seniors, there is a question that requires the expertise of those who are familiar with pulverized coal gasification. Regarding the power consumption of the coal grinder in this process: for raw coal with a basis moisture content of around 15%, an ash content of 15%, and a grindability index of approximately 55, what is the approximate power consumption per unit of coal ground by the grinder? I have been in contact with water-coal slurry before. For a mill operating at a concentration of around 60%, the power consumption is approximately 40 kilowatts per cubic meter of coal slurry. As for a mill capable of handling 60 tons of coal per batch, its power consumption is around 2800 KW. I tried to find some information on this topic, but couldn’t locate any approximate data regarding line mills used for gasification of pulverized coal; therefore, I would like to ask those who are more familiar with this subject for their insights
