Before forcing it, process engineers need to inform the DCS supervisor: whether it is possible to force the operation or not, to avoid making mistakes After enforcement, do the process engineers need to go and verify it personally? It’s better to ask the DCS staff. On the ticket, the DCS staff signs to receive it, and after the work is done, they are asked to confirm it again? Is that reasonable? Is it acceptable for the process operator in charge or team leader not to be able to understand the DCS SIS interlock screens? Do process engineers need to master it?
The confirmation by the executors should be carried out by two persons. The chief operator must understand it.
