Our coking plant uses HPF desulfurization towers, and there is a small leakage caused by corrosion and perforation in the manhole of the mist capture layer at the top of the desulfurization tower. Since explosive gases such as gas and NH3 are present in the fog capture layer (in the positive pressure zone), may I ask whether the manhole here can be welded directly? Is there a possibility of an explosion?
