Capacity of 8 coking projects in Wuhai City to be phased out! 5 coking projects have had their registrations revoked! It is understood that there are 8 capacity reduction projects in Wuhai City, including: 1. Wuhai Tianxin Clean Coal Washing Co., Ltd. (600,000 tons); 2. Wuhai Desheng Coal Coking Co., Ltd. (950,000 tons); 3. Inner Mongolia Yellow River Industry and Trade Group Qianshan Coal Coking Co., Ltd. (Phase 1: 4.3 meters/960,000 tons); 4. Wuhai Jiaxin Coal Coking Co., Ltd. (960,000 tons); 5. Wuhai Huazi Coal Coking Co., Ltd. (960,000 tons); 6. Wuhai Western Coal Chemicals Co., Ltd. (900,000 tons); 7. Inner Mongolia Taihe Coal Chemicals Co., Ltd. (960,000 tons); 8. **Energy Group Coal Coking Co., Ltd. Xilaifeng Branch (Phase 1: 4.3 meters/1,000,000 tons). The total production capacity of 7.29 million tons from these 8 coal coking projects has been completely shut down. 5 registered projects have been revoked: 1. The Ulaanbaatar Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology revoked the registration documents for Inner Mongolia Taihe Energy Co., Ltd.’s project for the downstream processing of 3 million tons per year of compacted coke. 2. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region’s Department of Industry and Information Technology canceled the registration for Ulaanbaatar Desheng Coal Coking Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 1 million tons per year of compacted coke. 3. Ulaanbaatar Jiaxin Coal Coking Co., Ltd.’s project for technical upgrades aimed at producing 1 million tons per year of compacted coke along with 200,000 tons per year of methanol was also revoked. 4. Inner Mongolia Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 2*1000,000 tons per year of compacted coke, along with a corresponding facility for producing 200,000 tons per year of methanol, had its registration revoked as well. 5. The registration documents for Ulaanbaatar Wenming Coking Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 1 million tons per year of compacted coke were revoked.
