Datang Keqi will produce 2.836 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2025

According to Datang Keqi Coal-to-Natural Gas Company, the company’s natural gas production for the entire year of 2025 reached 2.836 billion cubic meters, completing its annual production targets 11 days ahead of schedule. At the same time, a new industry record was set: the continuous operating cycle for a single gasification furnace reached 402 days, with the average daily natural gas production exceeding 8.8 million cubic meters for 55 consecutive days. There are 2 coal-to-natural gas plants in Keqi, Inner Mongolia Datang. Phase 1 adopts the Lurgi coal pulverization pressurized gasification, partial shift, and DAVY methanation process. Designed to produce 1.33 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year. It came online in December 2013. The second-phase plant also uses Lurgi reactors, and by the end of October 2023, it began producing qualified natural gas. In August 2024, the entire second phase was put into operation. In 2024, Datang Keqi in Inner Mongolia produced 2.328 billion cubic meters of natural gas throughout the year.
