Is Clariant (Nanjing) Methanol Catalyst Factory related to Nanhua? I see that many of those in sales used to work at Nanhua. Also, are the products related? Thank you!
Connections exist: All the companies are located in Nanjing. No connections exist: Nanhua Institute belongs to Sinopec, and its operations are going well; Clariant (Nanjing) is a foreign-owned enterprise, and the company has been deregistered
This Nanhua is not that Nanhua; it’s the original German Southern Chemical
After the company was dissolved, its business operations were carried out in the name of Clariant’s Shanghai headquarters. The move is to offer a low price – do you dare to use it?
The Clariant (Nanjing) website states that the Clariant (Nanjing) factory was originally Sinopec Nanjing Methanol Catalyst Factory. So there is still a connection; Clariant is quite familiar with the early technologies of Nanhua Institute.
Also, the company was closed down, and the factory in Nanjing shut as well?
Klein, now called Southern Chemical
Klein (Nanjing) originally stemmed from the Catalyst Factory of Nanhua Group, but after several changes of ownership, it has now been dissolved. Its technology is outdated; since it separated from Nanhua Group, it no longer has any technical support. It’s hard to say about current southern German technology; it’s sufficient to look at how it performs domestically.
