Commissioning of the on-site level gauge: 1. Verify that the level gauge is ready for operation. 2. Ensure that the bottom drain valve and the top vent valve of the level gauge are closed. 3. Slightly open the vapor phase root valve. 4. Slightly open the liquid phase root valve. 5. Once the level reaches the normal reading, fully open both the vapor phase and liquid phase root valves. 6. If there are multiple valves between the equipment and the level gauge, first open the valves other than those that are part of the level gauge itself or those located closest to the level gauge ; 3. Slowly open the air valve ; 4. Slowly open the liquid valve ; 5. Perform the level gauge flushing operation, and eliminate the possibility of blockages in the pressure transfer tubes during this process.

During actual operation, it doesn’t matter whether to turn it on from the top or from the bottom; what’s important is to check that there are no leaks. The upper part is the gas phase, while the lower part is the liquid phase. It can only be put into use after any leaks have been fixed. If there is no leakage but the display shows an issue, troubleshooting must be carried out based on the type of level gauge!
