I want to publish a paper on the low-temperature methanol washing process, but I find that all articles on the internet are paid. I would like some experts to explain whether it’s possible to have one’s work published in a journal just by paying money if the quality of the paper isn’t great Do you still have to pay the publisher if the paper is well-written?
When you publish an article in a journal, you definitely need to pay a page charge. Some journals have low requirements and allow articles to be published right away, while for more reputable journals, if your article isn’t good enough, they will reject it. Moreover, better journals have higher page charges
You can check on CNKI to see in which journals papers similar to yours have been published, and then submit your work to some relatively reputable journals first, before attempting to submit it to less reputable ones. Of course, it’s also possible to submit to several journals at the same time; although this is not allowed, it’s an option to consider if you’re in a hurry to have your work published
There are many free journals, and they’re all quite good.
Chemical engineering design seems to cost nothing; give them a call and ask. Most journals require payment, and this has nothing to do with the quality of the papers. Foreign SCI articles are generally free of charge.
