On the 17th of the month, Jiamusi Hanya’s integrated project for \"producing green methanol via wind power-driven hydrogen production\" was officially approved for registration, marking the entry of this key new energy project into a phase of actual implementation. The project is located in Heilongjiang Province and is invested in and constructed by Jiamusi Hanya New Energy Co., Ltd., with a planned total investment of 4 billion yuan. According to the registration information, the project will primarily construct a green methanol production facility with an annual output of 300,000 tons, along with associated heat storage facilities. This project utilizes the abundant local wind energy to electrolyze water and produce hydrogen, which is then combined with carbon dioxide capture to synthesize green methanol. The project is planned to cover an area of approximately 350,000 square meters.
