In the Lindemann process for low-temperature methanol washing, the sulfur content in the exhaust gases often exceeds the allowable limits; how should this be addressed?
First, examine the processes and equipment, and then look at the operational aspects to see if there are any shortcomings.
It only indicates one thing: the amount of sulfur-free methanol supplied at the top of the hydrogen sulfide concentration tower is too low.
We use Luchi’s manufacturing process, and we’ve encountered this issue as well
Which exhaust? What is the composition of the mixture obtained by combining the outlet gas from the CO2 separation tower with that from the H2S concentration tower?
