In addition, the planned projects will continue to be implemented, so China’s production capacity for coal-based ethylene glycol is set to keep increasing by around 2020. In China, the import volume of ethylene glycol in 2018 was 8.75 million tons. The collection is fairly comprehensive now; what’s missing is the 300,000-ton ethylene glycol project carried out by Shanxi Woneng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. The preliminary design for this project is nearly complete, and it will soon enter the stage of detailed design.
