Safety management regulations for alcohol-based fuels in restaurants

Recent safety inspections have revealed that in many cafeteria kitchens, in an effort to cut costs, bottled alcohol-based fuels are used as a substitute for liquefied petroleum gas. These fuels are usually stored outdoors; in better-equipped kitchens, there is at least a shade canopy over them. They come in plastic containers, and a considerable amount of these fuels is used, with no safety measures in place. Are there any regulations regarding the use of such fuels?
