In an exhaust-condensing steam turbine, where does the exhaust valve draw steam from and to where does it send it?
The uncooled steam in the condenser (recondenser) is extracted for cooling in order to maintain the vacuum level; after cooling, it turns into condensed water which is then fed back into the deoxygenated water system!
Part of the steam at the end of the high-pressure cylinder is drawn off and sent to the pipeline network, while another part of the steam enters the low-pressure cylinder
A portion of the steam is drawn from the middle cylinder and sent to the steam pipeline network; generally, the valve used for this purpose controls not the amount of steam drawn out, but rather the amount of steam that enters the next stage of the impeller before reaching the condenser.
