How is anti-freezing checked for the bypass line between the supply water and return water in areas of the north where it is extremely cold?
During winter, the valves on the auxiliary line should be left slightly open to prevent freezing and blockages; during inspections, the valves can be opened and closed to listen to the sound of water flowing through them
That secondary pipeline is generally thinner compared to the main water return pipeline; it can be made quite large as long as it doesn’t affect heat exchange. There’s no need to worry about it in winter, as it definitely won’t freeze
