The focus of the methanol market in Shanxi region has shifted significantly downward, with the prevailing price ranging between 1,800 and 1,920 yuan per ton. The price of Jincheng mainstream product dropped by 30 yuan to 1,920–1,930 yuan per ton ； In Linfen, the prices of mainstream low-end products have dropped by 50 to 1,850–1,910 yuan per ton, while sales of high-end products are sluggish ； The mainstream price in Yuncheng remains at 1,910 yuan per ton ； The retail price in Changzhi is 2,020 yuan per ton ； The latest auction price in the Lüliang area is 1,800 yuan per ton. Methanol producers in northern Shandong are facing poor sales performance, with the prevailing ex-plant prices in central and eastern Shandong ranging around 2050–2140 yuan per ton ； Traders in nearby areas such as Dongying and Zibo have offered prices of around 2,000–2,050 yuan per ton; lower prices have been reported in some places, but transaction volumes remain moderate. Methanol producers in southern Shandong are facing poor sales, with retail prices for these companies in the southern part of Shandong ranging around 2110–2130 yuan per ton ； Traders’ prevailing quotes for Linyi region products without invoices are around 2,090–2,100 yuan per ton, with weak trading activity. In the Two Lakes region, the methanol market is characterized by a wait-and-see attitude, as demand from downstream industries is weak. In Hubei, the prevailing negotiation price is 2200–2300 yuan per ton; this represents the export prices of major manufacturers, while Wuhan-based traders offer higher prices for high-quality methanol ； In the Hunan region, some negotiation prices range around 2,380–2,400 yuan per ton; these are mostly quotes from traders in Changsha, with transaction prices leaning towards the lower end. The spot market for methanol in Fujian region continues to weaken. The spot prices in the main storage areas of Quangang are around 2,300–2,340 yuan per ton, while the spot price in Xiamen is around 2,340 yuan per ton. Demand is limited, and the market atmosphere is sluggish. The methanol market in Anhui region remains stable; at the beginning of the week, there was a strong atmosphere of caution among traders. Downstream buyers ordered goods as needed, and some companies were selling their products at around 2210–2220 yuan per ton on an acceptance basis. The methanol market in the southwest region is stable; currently, the main selling price for some enterprises in Sichuan and Chongqing remains around 2,050–2,170 yuan per ton ； Affected by the surrounding market conditions, some traders in Sichuan and Chongqing are discussing prices around 2,060–2,200 yuan per ton.
