Pu Jing Chemical held a mid-term progress review meeting for the project titled “Large-scale engineering technology for the efficient synthesis of ethanol from syngas”. On July 28, 2019, a mid-term progress review meeting for this sub-project under a key research and development initiative, namely “Large-scale engineering technology for the efficient synthesis of ethanol from syngas”, was held at East China University of Science and Technology. This project is undertaken by Shanghai Pujing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Pujing Chemical”), with the participation of Xiamen University, East China University of Science and Technology, and the Beijing Institute of Low-Carbon Clean Energy. Professor Yuan Youzhu, director of the **Engineering Laboratory for Clean Production of Alkyl Ether Ester Chemicals at Xiamen University, Professor Zhou Jinghong and Professor Shi Yunhai from East China University of Science and Technology, as well as Mr. Zhu Shen, general manager of Pu Jing Chemical, attended the meeting, which was chaired by Dr. Ji Yang, deputy general manager of Pu Jing Chemical. During the meeting, the respective teams responsible for each sub-project provided interim summaries of their work and determined the plans for further research.
