The construction of the Yulin Energy Chemical Project is advancing rapidly, with a total investment of 7.758 billion yuan already made! The total investment in the project amounts to 14.4 billion yuan; as of now, 7.758 billion yuan has been invested, representing 53.87% of the total investment amount. The specific progress is as follows: regarding administrative approvals, all have been completed ； Detailed design: 98.74% of the detailed design work has been completed ； In terms of procurement, the overall progress has reached 64.61% so far ； In terms of construction, the overall progress has reached 39.69% so far ； For the off-site water supply project, 100,000 cubic meters of earthwork was excavated at the Jinchisha Second-Level Platform pump station, accounting for 35% of the total amount required ； 2,000 meters of water supply pipelines have been installed on the second-level riverbank, accounting for 50% of the total length ； Four kilometers of the access road’s concrete pouring has been completed; the foundation work for the remaining two kilometers is finished ； 80% of the work on soil removal, trench excavation, and foundation preparation for the line has been completed. The earthwork filling for the reservoir structure has been completed; 110,000 cubic meters of geotextile and waterproof blankets have been laid, accounting for 50% of the total amount required ； Foundation construction for the main and auxiliary plant buildings, management facilities, and auxiliary buildings at the pumping station has been completed ； The installation of the pipelines for the reservoir is nearly complete. From January to August this year, the park produced 805,800 tons of polyolefin products from the first-phase project of China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Company (of which 349,200 tons were polyethylene and 456,600 tons were polypropylene), accounting for 69.46% of the annual production target of 1.16 million tons ； By the end of August 2019, since its commissioning, the project had produced a total of 4.559 million tons of polyolefins, generating sales revenue of over 47 billion yuan, profits of over 4 billion yuan, and tax payments of over 6 billion yuan. As the projects launched in the first phase reach full capacity and efficiency, and the production capacity is unlocked following the completion of the supplementary projects, the Jingbian Energy and Chemical Park is bound to continue to grow and develop. It will gradually become an important part of the high-end energy and chemical industry hub in northern Shaanxi, playing a leading role in driving the economic and social development as well as the adjustment of the industrial structure of the entire county and even the entire city.
