On the morning of May 18th, at the Lunan Coal-based New Materials Research and Development Center, Chen Jian, Party Secretary and General Manager of Southwest Institute, and Meng Xiangjun, Chief Engineer of Yankuang Group, jointly unveiled the signs for the “Key Laboratory of Southwest Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd.” and the “Lunan Research and Development Base of Southwest Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd.” This marks another significant step forward in the industrialization and commercialization of a key process technology within the coal chemical industry chain by the Southwest Research Institute; it also plays an important role in boosting the momentum of Yankuang Chemical’s transformation efforts, as well as enhancing its industrial competitiveness and development potential. Subsequently, Chen Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Southwest Chemical Industry, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Liu Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Yankuang Chemical Industry Company, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Lunan Chemical Industry. Long Chongjun, Executive Deputy General Manager of Southwest Chemical, and Zhang Ling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Lunan Chemical, signed a pilot-scale production contract for acrylic acid.
