On March 9, Yokoyama Coal and Electricity Company held its fourth session of the first workers’ congress as well as the 2021 annual work meeting, to convey and study the spirit of the group company’s 2021 work meeting and to arrange for various tasks for the year. Liu Chunxiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, attended the meeting. Meng Xunbiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, delivered a work report titled \"Taking standardization as a key approach and brand creation as a goal to strive for the full implementation of the company’s ‘five-step’ development strategy.\" Ma Shaojun, Director of the Science and Technology Information Department of the group company, was invited to provide guidance at the meeting. All employees of the company attended the meeting. The report indicates that as of March 9, 2021, Yokoyama Coal and Power Company had maintained safe production for 851 consecutive days. In 2020, it generated 9.907 billion kWh of electricity, achieved operating revenues of 2.452 billion yuan, and earned a profit of 453 million yuan. The report requires that in 2021, the company should take safe production as its foundation, standardization efforts as a key approach, and the implementation of the \"Brand Year\" strategy as its core. It must carry out nine key tasks related to safe production, operational management, governance in accordance with the law, team building, technological innovation, pursuit of excellence in projects, planning for development, party building, and service provision. The goal is to establish five versions of \"Hengdian\" – one characterized by safety, efficiency, sustainability, technology, and humanism – on a high quality basis. This will help lay a solid foundation for high-quality development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and outstanding achievements can be presented as a gift for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party. At the meeting, the attendees listened to reports on party building, administration, work safety, and trade unions. Employee representatives listened to and approved four major policies and regulations, including the general manager’s work report, the work safety report, reports on the handling of proposals in 2020 and the collection of proposals for 2021, the report on the use of hospitality expenses in 2020, and the \"Draft Comprehensive Assessment Management System\" for the company. The meeting also honored the advanced collectives and individuals of 2020. Before the meeting, the company also held a preparatory session for the fourth session of its workers’ representative assembly, during which all worker representatives discussed in groups four work reports and four systems related to the tangible interests of the workers.
