Project name: Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.’s 1.6 million tons per year high-performance resin and new materials project； 2. Nature of construction: New construction ； 3. Location of construction: Hengli Petrochemical Industrial Park, Changxing Island, Dalian ； 4. Land area: 247.56 hectares ； 5. Total investment: 2,000,000 million yuan ； 6. Construction contents: Addition of a 450,000-ton/year ethylene oxide plant, a 200,000-ton/year ethanolamine plant, a 30,000-ton/year ethylenediamine plant, a 420,000/260,000-ton/year phenol propylene plant, 2*240,000-ton/year bisphenol A plants (using the ion exchange method), a 200,000-ton/year dimethyl carbonate plant, a 260,000-ton/year polycarbonate plant, 2*200,000-ton/year CO2 purification plants, a 130,000-ton/year isopropanol plant, a 300,000-ton/year ABS plant, a 150,000-ton/year polystyrene plant, an 80,000-ton/year polyoxymethylene plant, a 72,000-ton/year PDO plant, a 60,000-ton/year PTMEG plant, as well as power facilities (excluding generating units), utility systems, and auxiliary facilities. The Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Changxing Island Industrial Park currently houses Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd., Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd., and Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Chemical Co., Ltd. These three companies are primarily involved in a refining & chemical project with an annual capacity of 20 million tons, a PTA production facility with an annual capacity of 11.6 million tons, and an ethylene production plant with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons. Due to their large scale and high production capacities, their annual revenue accounts for over 50% of the total revenue of the listed company. In addition, the park is equipped with two own-fired power plants, which can fully meet the normal production needs of Hengli Refining & Chemical, Hengli Petrochemical, and Hengli Chemical. The company has always used electricity generated by its own thermal power plants for its production activities, and this is one of the company’s advantages. Hengli Petrochemical’s main business activities include the research, development, production, and sales of polyester fiber-related products, as well as the production and sales of thermal power. Hengli Petrochemical’s interim report for 2021 showed that the company’s main revenue amounted to 104.574 billion yuan, an increase of 55.25% on a year-on-year basis ； The net profit attributable to the parent company was 8.642 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 56.65% ； Net profit after deducting non-recurring items was 8.266 billion yuan, up 50.44% on a year-on-year basis.
