The approval process for the Hengli Energy (Yulin) project has been completed, and construction is set to begin. Project name: Hengli Energy (Yulin) Chemical Co., Ltd., Public Gas Center Project in Qingshui Industrial Park (South Area), Yushen Industrial Zone. Location of construction: Qingshui Industrial Park, Yushen Industrial Zone, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Total investment: 2,030,000 million yuan. Nature of the project: New construction. Planned start date: April 2021. Scale and scope of construction: 1.32 million standard cubic meters per hour of syngas, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen production facilities； 96,000 standard cubic meters per hour calcium carbide-acetylene combined plant ； 30,000 standard cubic meters per hour CO2 recovery unit ； As well as process units for air separation, gasification, purification, etc., power centers, sewage treatment facilities, and utility storage and transportation facilities. Scale and Scope of Construction: A facility for producing 4.25 million tons/year of formaldehyde (at 37.5% concentration), a 1.8 million tons/year 1,4-butanediol plant, a 1 million tons/year anhydrous ethanol plant, an 180,000 tons/year PTMEG plant, an 180,000 tons/year PBAT plant, a 160,000 tons/year polyoxymethylene plant, as well as facilities for producing spandex and other products. The Hengli Energy (Yulin) Coal-Chemical Integration Industrial Park project is located in the Yulin Economic and Technological Development Zone of Yulin City. The total planned investment amounts to approximately 151.3 billion yuan, of which 114 billion yuan is allocated to the coal-chemical integration project and 37.3 billion yuan to the textile new materials project. Invested and constructed by Hengli Energy (Yulin) Co., Ltd., the project covers a total area of approximately 31,640 mu, of which the coal chemical integration project occupies about 20,877 mu and the textile new materials project covers around 10,763 mu. The main construction components include an integrated coal chemical project that will process 17 million tons of raw coal per year. It will feature facilities for producing 9 million tons of methanol per year, 9 million tons of MTO per year, 1.5 million tons of aromatics per year, and 1.5 million tons of PTA per year. The project will also enable the production of 3 million tons of olefins per year; if necessary, it can be adjusted to produce 2 million tons of diesel and other petroleum products as well. The textile new materials project will process 3 million tons of raw coal per year, build a methanol plant with an annual capacity of 1.8 million tons, and produce 2 million tons of new materials as well as 1.3 million tons of chemical fiber textile products per year.
