The first time the furnace was heated using a vehicle, everything worked fine; the flame intensity was very high. However, once acid gas was introduced, no flame could be detected. It was later discovered that this flame detector is designed to detect methane as well as hydrogen sulfide combustion, and since the wavelengths emitted by these substances differ, the flame cannot be detected. Eventually, two different flame detectors were used to resolve the issue. The company I work for currently uses IRIS, along with the corresponding points

Has anyone never used SIEMENS products? We mostly use their flame detectors.
We use ones that are supplied by the same manufacturer as the ignition system; I don’t know which foreign company it is. I’m not sure if they work well. We have to adjust them frequently, and the flame tends to wander; sometimes it’s unstable
We also use this BFI Automation; as mentioned above, it measures based on the short wavelength. We didn’t detect it at that time either, but it could be seen through the fire viewing hole; later, after removing the fire detector, we tried it with a lighter. Hehe, things abroad are indeed better. Active participation
Honeywell’s quality is average; better options include Fireeye from the United States and Durag from Germany
Honeywell’s flame detectors are quite good, and they come in a wide range of models. Generally, IR probes are used for coal-fired fuel engines, while UV probes are used for natural gas-fired ones. For the remaining fuel configuration probes, it is necessary to examine the wavelength and frequency of the flame produced. For harsh process conditions, it is best to use an IR and UV integrated probe.
