This marks a critical stage in the construction of this project. The recovery tower distillation unit is one of the key equipment in the DMC upgrading project. With a net height of 36 meters and a weight of around 20 tons, its function is to recover dimethyl carbonate that was not fully crystallized in the upstream crystallization unit. It is understood that the DMC quality improvement and efficiency enhancement project represents an important step for the Yongcheng Industrial Park in extending its industrial chain and helping enterprises achieve transformation and upgrading. “Building on the existing plant with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of ethylene glycol, we have added additional production processes to further process a portion of the dimethyl carbonate produced there, enabling the product to reach electronic-grade quality and thereby increasing its added value. ”Yeh Honghai, head of the Production Technology Department at the park, explained.
