It is said that 12 MTO projects have adopted the Whiting olefin separation process package.
I came across a message with the following summary: On October 31, Huisheng Engineering (China) Co., Ltd. (“Huisheng Engineering”) and Nanjing Chengzhi Yongqing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Nanjing Chengzhi”) formally signed a contract for the design management, procurement, and construction oversight of a 600,000 tons per year methanol-to-olefins (MTO) plant and a 100,000 tons per year butadiene plant (collectively referred to as the “Project”). Previously, Huisheng Engineering had successfully secured the design contract for this project, as well as the technical licenses and process package contracts for the olefin separation unit and the butadiene unit of the MTO plant. This project is scheduled to achieve an interim handover on December 30, 2018. This 600,000 tons per year MTO unit employs a combined approach featuring Honeywell UOP reaction technology and Whiting Engineering olefin separation technology. The core of Huisheng MTO olefin separation technology is the “pre-cutting + oil absorption” technique, and this marks the 11th successful application of this technology. The 100,000 tons per year butadiene plant makes full use of the butylene oxidation dehydrogenation reaction technology independently developed by Huisheng Engineering; this is the second time that this technology has been put into commercial use.
To correct this, according to the information available, 11 MTO projects are using the Hyosung olefin separation process package.
What technologies are there for separation systems? Is it low in energy consumption?
Abstract: According to a report in this magazine, Huisheng Engineering, a leading Chinese provider of chemical EPC services and technologies, announced that the 300,000 tons per year methanol-to-olefins (MTO) project carried out under its EPC contract and utilizing its own proprietary olefin separation technology at Shandong Yangmei Hengtong Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yangmei Hengtong”), has passed the performance assessments and inspections conducted by the project owner after ten months of stable operation. It achieved excellent operational results, with recovery rates for ethylene and propylene reaching the highest levels in the global industry to date.
Abstract: The development and industrial application project of methanol-to-olefins (MTO) reaction product separation technology by Wison Engineering Company has recently passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIA). The assessment shows that Huisheng Engineering Company’s proprietary MTO reaction product separation technology is at the international leading level and possesses strong market competitiveness.
