I understand. Lightning protection grounding, as the name implies, is used to prevent lightning strikes. Static grounding is used to prevent the movement of charges in the vicinity from inducing charge accumulation, which, when it reaches a certain level, can cause breakdown. The difference is that their functions are completely different. As I understand it, it’s not about merging; rather, it’s about ensuring that, taking the ground resistance into account, the current flows from the grounding point to the ground grid, and not to any other grounding points.
