After one of the inverter units in the company was damaged, a new one was installed with the same parameters as before. The motor and cables were checked and found to be in good condition. Now, after the motor runs for a while, it triggers an F001 error alarm and stops operating. It’s happened many times over, and I don’t know why. I would appreciate it if experts could offer some guidance and answers.
The F001 error code on the Siemens M430 inverter indicates an overcurrent condition, which suggests a short circuit or grounding fault either in the motor’s cables or within the motor itself. Based on the symptoms you described, it is unlikely that there is a short circuit or grounding fault; rather, it is likely that the parameters of the inverter are set incorrectly, such as the motor’s rated current, rated voltage, rated frequency, and the inverter’s own rated parameters.
