How can I estimate the number of electrical cabinets based on the number of electrical circuits and the total power? What is the difference between MCC and PCC when estimating quantities?
In MCC motor circuits, there are typically up to 9 circuits (1/2 8E is not recommended); the maximum power per circuit is 30 kW. Considering 1–2 spare circuits, the total power for one cabinet is approximately 210–240 kW. Of course, this is a relatively general algorithm; for feeders, it can be 30% higher than that of motor circuits.
By checking the power consumption of each circuit, it is possible to estimate the capacity of the circuit breaker required and how much space it will occupy in the drawer
